Introducing Stage: A Residency Programme at Track
Stage is a new residency initiative for 51N4E collaborators in Track. As we strive to make our practice and way of designing as inclusive, grounded and responsive to change as possible, we have initiated Stage as a possible incubator for the way our organisation can evolve and learn, allowing practitioners to zoom out of the day-to-day and take time to focus on issues that are not necessarily embedded in our structure. As one of the residents of Track, 51N4E's aim is to activate the space and nurture initiatives that explore possible connections with the surrounding North District.
Alter: The First Stage Resident
The first Stage residency welcomes Alter, a collective formed by five 51N4E collaborators. Dedicated to advancing reuse practices in architecture through collective action, Alter explores the intersection of design and execution, building a community grounded in shared values and experimentation.
For the end of their residency, from 6 to 8 December, Alter will share their research and perform a growing installation at Track, open to anyone who wants to learn about their work or even get their hands dirty with them in a collective action. On Monday night, the installation will conclude with a debate with Brussels emerging collectives and researchers.
Join Us at Track
Over these three days, Track will be transformed into a space for exhibition, community building, and debate. Stage underscores 51N4E’s commitment to supporting community-driven initiatives, while testing and exploring different and possible dialogues between Track and its surroundings.
Come build, experiment, and discuss with Alter as we reimagine and turn Track into a space for exhibition, playing, gathering and debate.
