Sint Lukas Academie
Academie Sint Lukas is an academy for children, young people and adults who wish to explore the possibilities of the visual arts in their free time. The school is a meeting place for different ages, cultures, disciplines and artistic processes in the local and international (artistic) context.
The various studios of Sint Lukas get a place at TRACK. Students from photography, painting, model drawing, printmaking, screen printing, youth studio, initiation studio, graphic design and illustration, interior design and drawing will each spend a month in residency. Each residency ends in a mini-exhibition, which will culminate in their multi-day expo at the end of May. With this venue, Sint-Lukas aims to commit to an open studio operation where people can enter into dialogue with the station's regular partners and passers-by: to inspire and be inspired, exchange knowledge, be part of a meeting place and co-create. It also fills a question they have been struggling with for some time, namely the search for a permanent exhibition space.
